Lucknow, 16 May (HS): The state government is going to organize a grand program

across Uttar Pradesh on Sunday to honor part-time instructors and distribute

their increased honorarium. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the

program to honor part-time instructors and distribute the increased honorarium

at a state-level function organized at the Lok Bhavan auditorium in the capital

Lucknow. The program will be held from 4 pm. Under the government order issued

earlier, it was decided to increase the honorarium of part-time instructors.

The increased honorarium has been made effective from April 1, 2026. Under

this, symbolic cheque distribution programs will now be organized across the

state.

Describing the program to honor part-time instructors and distribute increased

honorariums as a symbol of the state government's commitment, Sandeep Singh,

Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge), said that this

decision is an important step towards respecting teachers and ensuring their

economic well-being. He said that under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, the

government is continuously working to strengthen the education system and

protect the interests of teachers.

In this regard, instructions have been issued to all district magistrates by

Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary of the Basic and

Secondary Education Department. The instructions state that grand celebrations

should be ensured in all districts parallel to the program chaired by the Chief

Minister. The program will be attended by the Minister in Charge, MPs, MLAs,

other public representatives, the District Magistrate, the Chief Development

Officer, and district-level officials.

District magistrates have been directed to widely publicize the program.

Instructions have been given to ensure the participation of a large number of

teachers, part-time instructors, and the general public in the district-level

programs. Following the program's conclusion, public representatives in the

districts will distribute symbolic cheques representing the increased honorarium

to part-time instructors. Cultural programs and addresses by public

representatives will also be organized.
