Bhubaneswar, 07 April (H.S.): Leaders of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) from Jajpur district met party supremo Naveen Patnaik at his residence to discuss strategies for strengthening the party organisation.

The meeting took place after a discussion held at the residence of Jajpur MLA Pramila Mallik.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Mallik said that more meetings will be organised at the district level in the coming days. She added that special emphasis is being placed on strengthening the party’s student, youth and women’s wings in Jajpur district.

Mallik said that the strategy prepared to further consolidate the organisation was presented to the party supremo. According to her, Naveen Patnaik expressed satisfaction with the proposed plan and advised leaders to proceed accordingly.

She also stated that the BJD is a large and strong political organisation. “If one person leaves, ten others will join,” she remarked.

Mallik expressed confidence that many people would return to the party in the coming days, further strengthening the organisation.
