Pune, 07 Apr (HS): Senior journalist Virag Pachpore

and Editor of Vishva Samwad Kendra Anjali Tagde have been declared winner of

Weekly Vivek’s former Editor Late Rajabhau Nene Memorial Award. The award is

given every year for distinguished contribution in the field of journalism. The

award will be conferred upon Pachpor and Tagde at Chanchal Smruti Hall, Wadala,

Mumbai, at 5 pm on April 13, at the hands of Pramod Bapat, West Zone Pracharak

of RSS.

The award consists of a memento, shawl, shreefal (coconut)

and Rs 25,000. During the programme

Padmashri Ramesh Patange’s book titled ‘Dr Babasaheb Ambedkaranche Samvaidhanik

Chintan’ will be released at the hands of Mumbai’s Corporator Pratik Karpe and

Dr Baliram Gaiukwad of Mumbai University.
