
Bhubaneswar, 24 April (H.S.): The Vishwa Odia Parivar will organise the ‘Second Kulagaurav Samman 2026’ on April 28 at the Kalinga Stadium Tennis Centre, its president Sajjan Sharma announced.
The awards aim to recognise distinguished entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the development of modern Odisha. The honour is inspired by the ideals of Madhusudan Das, a pioneering figure in the state’s socio-economic transformation.
Entrepreneurs from different parts of Odisha will be felicitated for their role in advancing industrial growth and overall progress in the state.
Odisha Legislative Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy will attend the programme as the chief guest. Other dignitaries expected to be present include Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, retired Odisha High Court judge Bimal Prasad Das, Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda, former Rajya Sabha MP Amar Patnaik, noted industrialist Ajay Agrawal, and social worker Jagannath Pradhan.
According to the organisers, the event seeks to encourage entrepreneurship in Odisha and honour those contributing to the state’s economic and social development.
