Accused dilapidated ancestral house in Baghpat

Noida,

April 24 (HS): Tushar Chauhan, alias Hizbullah Ali, one of the two accused

arrested by the UP ATS from Noida, is originally from Ramala village in Baghpat

district. However, his family has lived in the Kankarkheda area of Meerut for

the past two decades. According to family members, Tushar occasionally visited

his village, Ramala. He recently visited the village on February 20 when his

uncle Ravindra's daughter passed away. According to local information, Tushar

has previously been jailed in Meerut for objectionable social media posts.

Family members say Tushar's mental state was unstable and he often behaved

abnormally.

However, they had no

idea that he might be involved in any criminal or anti-national activities.

Tushar's father, Shailendra Chauhan, has a dilapidated ancestral house in the

village, while approximately 10 bighas of the family's agricultural land has

been leased out. At present, UP ATS is investigating the entire matter in depth

and the allegations can be confirmed only after the investigation is completed.
