Bijnor,

April 24 (HS): By opposing the Women's Bill, opposition parties have revived

memories of the disrobing of Draupadi in the Mahabharata. Congress, Samajwadi

Party, and all other opposition parties are unwilling to give respectable

status to 50% of the population. Making these allegations against the

opposition parties, Bijnor District In-charge Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal held a

press conference at the Vidur Auditorium in the Collectorate. Launching a

scathing attack on the opposition parties, the Minister in-charge stated that

half the population will surely avenge their humiliation in the upcoming

assembly elections.

Present

on the occasion were Bijnor Municipality Chairperson Indira Birbal, Rachna Pal,

Harjinder Kaur, Poonam Goyal, District Panchayat President Sakendra Pratap

Singh, BJP District President Bhupendra Babi, Vinod Rathi, and others. Earlier,

the Minister in-charge also addressed a conference held at Indira Bal Bhavan

today as part of the Women's Public Outrage Campaign. Kapil Dev Agarwal was the

chief guest, and Special State Minister for the Women's Front, Nutan Sharma.

Sharma stated, The opposition has once again insulted the self-respect of

women.

A

massive conference and protest was held in Bijnor city today as part of the

Women's Public Outrage Campaign to protect the honor and

self-respect of women. The main objective of this event was to raise voices

against the opposition's derogatory remarks and negative attitude towards women.

The conference was presided over by District President Bhupendra Chauhan and

jointly conducted by Monica Sharma and Rajni Kalra. The campaign began with a

Nari Shakti conference, where Bijnor in-charge Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal

emphasized that women's contribution to the country's progress is incomparable.

During

the conference, District President Bhupendra Chauhan stated that while the

government strives to empower women, the opposition's mindset repeatedly

insults women, which will no longer be tolerated. Following the conference,

activists and local women gathered in large numbers under the able leadership

of regional minister Harjinder Kaur and protested, raising slogans and burning

effigies against the opposition's anti-women attitude.

A

public apology was demanded from opposition leaders who used indecent language

against women.

Women

are not just the axis of the home, but the power of the nation. Whenever the

opposition has attacked our dignity, women power has given them a befitting

reply through its unity. This outrage campaign will continue until the

opposition changes its feudal and insulting mindset, said Harjinder Kaur,

Regional Minister.

This

protest clearly conveyed the message that the insult to women is no longer a

political issue, but rather a fight for the dignity of society. At the end of

the program, the women present pledged that they would not compromise on the

dignity of women. Guests included State General Secretary of the Women's Front,

Rashmi Rawal, District General Secretary Naresh Bhati, Dinesh Saini, and Balraj

Tyagi, former member of the SSC Selection Board, former MLA Kamlesh Saini,
