
Nagaon, 22 April (HS): A tragic road accident occurred at Rangalu Eleven Mile area in Assam’s Nagaon district, where a cyclist was killed on the spot after being hit by a speeding 108 ambulance.
According to local residents, the ambulance driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. Police officials confirmed on Wednesday saying that the vehicle, reportedly moving at a high speed, rammed into the cyclist, leading to his instant death.
The deceased has been identified as Majibur Rahman, a resident of Uriya Grant Tubuki.
Following the incident, Rangalu police reached the spot and seized the 108 ambulance. Further investigation into the matter is underway.------------
