Guwahati, 22 April (HS): The bail hearing of Shyamkanu Mahanta, the prime accused in the Zubeen murder case, remained inconclusive on Wednesday as proceedings could not be completed in court.

The court is set to continue the hearing on Thursday, with further arguments expected to be presented before a decision is taken on the bail plea.

During Wednesday’s hearing, arguments on behalf of Shyamkanu Mahanta were presented by Guwahati-based advocate Pran Bora. Earlier, the case had been represented by Kolkata-based advocate Rajdeep Banerjee.---------------
