Kamrup (Assam), 22 April (HS): A tragic incident occurred at the Rangia Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Court where an advocate, identified as Haidar Ali, killed within the court premises on Wednesday.

According to sources, the advocate had arrived at the Rangia court from the Gauhati High Court in connection with a case. During his time inside the court complex, he suddenly collapsed.

Preliminary information suggests that he suffered a cardiac arrest, leading to his death on the spot. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the court campus, with fellow advocates and court staff expressing shock and grief over the sudden demise.----------
