21 April (H.S.): An officer claimed on Tuesday that a lady was detained after
reportedly having her 40-year-old husband strangled by her boyfriend and
another man in the Hathigavan Police Station area. According to him, police
detained Reena Yadav, her lover Subhash Pal, and his accomplice, Guddu Patel,
in connection with Devtadeen's death.
According
to Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Brijnandan Rai, on April 19,
Reena Yadav, a resident of Tula Ka Purwa, reported to police that she
discovered her husband dead on a cot outside their home at 6 a.m. Rai stated
that she observed blood around his lips and nose, as well as ligature marks on
his neck. The police submitted the body for a post-mortem, which indicated
strangling as the cause of death.
During
the investigation, it was established that Reena collaborated with Guddu and
Subhash to kill her husband. The three were accused with murder, resulting in a
manhunt for them. A joint team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Satyendra
Singh and SWAT squad In-charge Amit Chaurasia captured Reena, Subhash, a
Baswahi village resident, and Guddu, a Balipur village resident, on a tip. Rai stated that Reena acknowledged to
committing the crime in coordination with her lover and his accomplice.
