
Murshidabad, 19 April (H.S.): With the West Bengal Assembly election campaign in full swing, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha visited Murshidabad district on Sunday. He participated in a “Vijay Sankalp Sabha” held in support of BJP candidate Dilip Saha from the Nabagram Assembly constituency.
The rally took place at Bholadanga Football Ground in Nabagram and witnessed the presence of a large number of party workers and supporters. Addressing the gathering, Saha raised the slogan, “Nabagram is calling for BJP’s victory this time.”
He said that he had the opportunity to address the public meeting in support of BJP candidate Dilip Saha and expressed confidence that people in West Bengal are seeking change. According to him, this change would begin from Nabagram, and BJP’s victory is certain.
Appealing to voters, the Tripura Chief Minister urged the people to bid farewell to what he described as the “oppressive” Trinamool Congress government and form a new government in the state under BJP leadership.
