
Firozabad, April 19 (HS): On
Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak conducted an extensive inspection
of the 200-bed autonomous state medical college and the 100-bed affiliated
hospital in Firozabad district. He stated that patients should not complain about
outside prescriptions, stating that public service is our priority,
and that any negligence or carelessness will not be tolerated.
Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak first visited the general ward of the
medical college in the district on Sunday and inquired about the well-being of
the patients admitted there. He asked a patient named Bal Kishan whether he was
getting medicines from the hospital or had to buy them from outside, to which
Bal Kishan replied that he could get them from the hospital itself. He also
spoke to a patient named Shilpi in the general ward and inquired about their
health and treatment.
The Deputy Chief Minister inspected the functioning, cleanliness, and
availability of equipment in the NICU and other important departments. Expressing
satisfaction with the cleanliness and availability of equipment, he directed
further improvements in the future. Following the inspection, the Deputy Chief
Minister directed the Principal, CMS, and CMO of the Medical College to ensure
that all permissible facilities are provided to every patient entering the
hospital. Patients should not complain of being prescribed outside medication.
Public service is our priority, and any negligence or carelessness will
not be tolerated, the Deputy Chief Minister clarified that the government
is implementing a zero-tolerance policy regarding health services, and strict
action will be taken against officials found lacking in patient care.
During the inspection, Sadar MLA Manish Asija, District President Uday Pratap
Singh, Metropolitan President Satish Diwakar along with District Magistrate
Ramesh Ranjan, Chief Development Officer Shatruhan Vaishya etc. were present.
