06 March (HS): A lady was beaten to death in her home by her brother-in-law and

other family members on Friday in front of her 8-year-old son, authorities

said. On Thursday, the tragic assault occurred in Bhabupura village, Uttar

Pradesh, when her husband was away in Aligarh. According to authorities, the

8-year-old kid contacted his father, Pawan Kumar, and told him that his brother

and other in-laws were viciously beating up her mother, Ruchi (35), inside a

room. Pawan instantly contacted the locals and the police emergency service.

Police arrived on the scene to discover the woman in critical condition.

According to authorities, all of the suspects had vanished. Ruchi was

transported to the hospital, where physicians proclaimed her death.

The

boy said he escaped to a friend's house to contact his father. According to

Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar Ganga Prasad, the primary

culprit, Neeraj, has been on the run since the crime occurred. Police have

seized the accused's wife, son, and daughter and are questioning them. The body

has been submitted for a post-mortem, he said.
