Bhubaneswar, 07 March (H.S.): Three youths were killed in a tragic road accident on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar in the early hours of Saturday.

The accident occurred near Anantapur Square under the jurisdiction of Pahala Police Station when the victims were travelling on a motorcycle. According to police sources, the trio was reportedly on their way to Niali when the mishap took place.

The motorcycle was severely damaged in the accident, and all three riders died on the spot due to the impact.

After receiving information, a police team reached the spot and recovered the bodies. The deceased were later sent to Capital Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police said the identities of the victims have not yet been established. Efforts are currently underway to identify them using the motorcycle’s registration number.

An investigation has been launched to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances of the accident. Further details are awaited.
