
Nagpur, 06 Mar
(HS): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spoke about planned urban
development with basic facilities and digitisation of all the local
self-government institutions in the state, and industrial development.
Sustainable
Development: More than 10 regional development agencies will plan for more than
50 cities with all facilities.

A
network of 125 km water transport will be increased to 340 km, with 20
terminals by investing Rs 6600 crore.

Three
stations on Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train, between Thane and Talasari will be
ready by February 2027.

Third
Mumbai will be development in 200 square kilometre near Atal Setu.
·
Wadwan
Port will have logistic and warehouring facilities. More than 12 lakh jobs will
be generated in the area.

Slum
Redevelopment for 20 lakh slums in Mumbai region and building 10 lakh
affordable houses.

Underground
metro from Wadala to Gateway of India.
Fadnavis
spoke about development of connectivity in various parts of the state in Mumbai
and Pune, Marathwada, Western Maharashtra, and extension of Samruddhi Mahamarg
to connect Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Bhandara and Gondia in Vidarbha region.
New
Commissionerates for micro, small, and medium industries and for industrial services
will be formed. He mentioned about Bamboo Development Project, Gadchiropli
Steel Hub and industrial facilities in Mumbai, Pune and Konkan regions.
Green
Maharashtra: The State has undertaken a plan of plantation of 300 crore plants
and for producing green energy.
Fanavis
gave information about good governance, speedy development, security and strict
enforcement of law and disaster management in the state.
