Jammu, 06 March (H.S.):Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today visited Banihal and Khari to assess the status of essential services and supplies besides listening to the grievances of people at their doorsteps.

SSP Arun Gupta; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Banihal Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan; Assistant Director FCS&CA Niamatullah Sheikh; Executive Engineers of PMGSY, PWD, Jal Shakti and REW, along with other concerned officers, were present during the visit.

During the tour, the Deputy Commissioner met several deputations and individuals who apprised him of their issues and demands.

He patiently listened to the grievances and resolved most of them on the spot by issuing directions to the concerned officers.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with shopkeepers and members of civil society to seek feedback regarding the availability and pricing of essential commodities and other civic issues.
