Guwahati, 05 March (HS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finalised its candidate panel for nearly 90 constituencies ahead of the upcoming elections in Assam.

Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the party is likely to announce the first list of candidates between March 10 and 12.

He also informed that discussions will soon be held with alliance partners Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) regarding the remaining seats.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while speaking to reporters after a meeting held at the BJP state headquarters, Vajpayee Bhawan, late at night.------------
