New Delhi, 24 March (H.S.): Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) welcomed the Delhi Assemblys FY 2026-27 budget presented Tuesday calling it a progressive visionary plan with strong future orientation.

CAIT national general secretary and MP Praveen Khandelwal praised the modern fruit vegetable and flower market proposal as a major reform to strengthen supply chains cut waste and deliver better value to stakeholders. He highlighted green mobility initiatives clean tech opportunities IIT backed centre of excellence for innovation research skills and women haat outlets to empower female entrepreneurs boost their market access and business participation.

Khandelwal noted 50000 new cameras will enhance security creating a friendlier environment for trade investment while boards for gig workers transgenders auto-taxi drivers MSME common facility centres warehousing policy RAMP scheme training and semiconductor drone policies position Delhi as a tech leader attracting investment generating high quality jobs.
