
Nagpur, 23 Mar (HS): Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and
Congress had organised a joint demonstrations and rally in Nagpur on Monday.
After the permission to the morcha from RBI Square to RSS Headquarters was
declined, a rally was held at Nagpur’s Zero Mile Square near the Vidhan Bhavan.
VBA Chief Prakash Ambedkar and Congress leader Harshavardhan Sapkal along with
other leaders addressed the rally against the policies of Union Government led
by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and against RSS.
A large number of workers raised slogans against
Modi, Union Government and RSS. They also displayed banners against the Central
Government and RSS.
Addressing the gathering Prakash Ambedkar criticized
Central Government’s policies. Sapkal also criticized the government and why
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is silent on the burning international issues?
The speakers alleged that the democracy in India is
in danger because of the government’s policies. The rally has been organised to
seek rely from the government on various issues threatening the democratic
principles included in the Constitution of India. They also criticized US
President Donald Trump and silence maintained by India, and its foreign policy.
The rally culminated peacefully without any untoward
incident in the city.
