Pathak, a woman who has distinguished herself in India through her
environmental conservation efforts, will participate in the prestigious IAFOR –
Asian Conference on Education and International Development – to be held in
Tokyo, Japan. Educators, researchers, and policymakers from approximately 70
countries participated in this seven-day international conference. This prestigious
event will feature leading institutions from across the world, including
Lingnan University of Indonesia, University of Utah Asia Campus, and the US and
Europe.
Water
Woman Shipra Pathak has been invited to share her views on modern education policy
and social development at the Asia Conference of Education and International
Development Seminar held in Tokyo, Japan. Earlier, Water Woman Shipra, who has
worked for water, rivers and women empowerment by walking 13000 km in India,
had recently got the opportunity to express her views in the Parliament of
London. Water Woman Shipra will represent the Indian women power at this
international conference in Tokyo on March 26 and will present her views on the
important topic “Contribution of education to social justice and development”.
Now,
her organization, Panchtatva, has expanded its work to include water
conservation and education, and she represents India on international
platforms. This proves that when Indian women express their views on the global
stage, the country's identity is further strengthened.
