Bhubaneswar, 18 March (H.S.): The evaluation of answer sheets for the recently concluded High School Certificate (HSC) examinations will begin tomorrow, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has announced.
According to official sources, around 15,000 teachers have been deployed across 52 evaluation centres to ensure the timely assessment of answer scripts. The Board has also communicated with all District Education Officers (DEOs) regarding the arrangements and guidelines for the evaluation process.
The HSC examinations concluded on March 2, with a total of 5,46,582 students appearing for the tests at 3,082 examination centres across the state. All centres were equipped with CCTV cameras to ensure transparency and proper monitoring during the conduct of the examinations.
As per the Board’s decision, the evaluation process is scheduled to be completed within 15 days, with the target date set for April 2. Authorities have instructed Chief Examiners, Deputy Chief Examiners, Assistant Inspectors, and other appointed officials and staff to remain vigilant throughout the process.
Evaluators have been directed to report to their respective centres by 10:00 a.m. daily, while camp officers and supporting staff must arrive by 9:30 a.m. to ensure smooth coordination and adherence to the schedule.
The Board will monitor the entire evaluation process from its control room through the Command Control System to maintain efficiency, accountability, and transparency. Officials expressed confidence that the structured arrangements will help complete the assessment within the stipulated timeframe.
