17 March (HS): Behind every successful society lies the sacrifice of women.

There is no substitute for hard work; the work is in our hands, and we should

not worry about the results. Justice Manju Rani Chauhan, Judge of the Allahabad

High Court, said this on Tuesday. She was addressing women advocates as the

chief guest at a program organized by the Advocates Council of Kashi Province,

High Court Unit, Prayagraj, on International Women's Day, in the historic

Library Hall of the High Court Bar Association.

Expressing

her views on the challenges women face in court, Justice Manju Rani Chauhan

said that hard work, honesty, dedication, and persistence are sure to lead to

success. She called on women advocates to be courageous. Furthering the

discussion, she said that we need to move forward, leaving behind petty issues.

Special guest Justice Nand Prabha Shukla said that women have established a

strong presence in the field of justice. Women's progress reflects the progress

of the entire society. We must perform our duties with integrity.

Addressing

the lawyers present, Justice Vani Ranjan Agarwal said that women have a special

place in the establishment of justice. He expressed his happiness at the number

of women in the High Court. Women advocates also shared their experiences on

the occasion.

Earlier,

senior women advocates nominated in the High Court were also honored.

The

function was presided over by Rakesh Pandey Babua, senior advocate of the High

Court and President of the Bar Association. Welcome and introduction was given

by Anish Lata Srivastava and vote of thanks was given by General Secretary of

the High Court Bar Association Akhilesh Kumar Sharma. The program started with

garlanding the picture of Bharat Mata and lighting the lamp followed by the

national anthem. While the program ended with the national anthem. President of

the Bar Council Kashi Province and former General Secretary of the High Court

Bar Association NC Tripathi, Joint Secretary Press Rameshwar Dutt Pandey RD,

General Secretary Neeraj Singh, President of the High Court unit Rajkumari,

Shashi Bala, Suchita Tripathi, Vatsala Upadhyay, Archana Tyagi, Anjali Singh

along with hundreds of workers and women advocates were present in the program.

Advocate Suchita Tripathi conducted the program.
