15 March (HS): According to authorities, two men and a youngster were murdered
on the spot after a high-speed dumper truck reportedly crashed into their
motorcycle at a key crossroads here early Sunday. The collision occurred about 1 a.m. near the
Nawabganj crossing. Pushpendra Kumar (20), Arpit Yadav (18), and Nishu (15)
were all inhabitants of Kuda Navar in the Naya Gaon region of Etah district. According
to the police, the trio was on a motorcycle from Farrukhabad when they were hit
by a Rajasthan-registered dump truck on the Mohammadabad highway. Following the
accident with the motorbike, the dumper collided with a vehicle parked in front
of a business and uprooted an ancient tree.
The
victims were crushed under the huge vehicle's wheels and perished quickly,
according to a police spokesman. Family members informed police that the trio
left on Saturday night. Police are probing the specifics of their journey at
that time. Nawabganj SHO Rajiv Kumar arrived with a police squad, retrieved the
remains, and submitted them for a post-mortem test. The dump
truck driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. The police have
launched a hunt for the accused.
