Udhampur, 14 March (H.S.): Deputy Inspector General of Police, Udhampur–Reasi Range Ms. Sarah Rizvi-IPS, along with SSP Udhampur Amod Nagpure-IPS, felicitated Ms. Mrigu Sambyal daughter of DySP DAR Udhampur Jatinder Singh Sambyal on her selection through the Combined Defence Services Examination conducted by UPSC in 2025. The felicitation ceremony was held at District Police Lines Udhampur.

Ms. Mrigu Sambyal has been selected for the Indian Army and is presently undergoing training at the Officers Training Academy Chennai. She completed her post-graduation in Political Science from University of Delhi.

On the occasion, the DIG U-R Range and SSP Udhampur congratulated Ms. Mrigu Sambyal for her remarkable achievement and lauded her dedication and hard work. They stated that her success has brought pride to her family as well as the police fraternity and will serve as an inspiration for other youth to pursue careers in the armed forces. Officers and officials present on the occasion also extended their best wishes to her for a bright and successful career ahead.
