Hyderabad, 27 February (HS): Telangana Education Commission Chairman Akunuri Murali on Thursday submitted the Commission’s report on the State’s proposed education policy to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Murali, a retired bureaucrat, along with members of the Commission, handed over the report to the Chief Minister at a meeting attended by government advisers K Keshav Rao and Vem Narender Reddy.

The submission follows the State government’s earlier announcement that it would formulate a new education policy aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP). Last month, the Chief Minister had stated that a committee of experts had been constituted to prepare recommendations for the proposed framework.

Officials indicated that the report outlines key suggestions for restructuring and strengthening the education system in the State. Further details of the policy are expected to be examined by the government before formal announcement and implementation.
