Chennai, 23 February (H.S.) : Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder-president Vijay has made a powerful statement regarding his political entry, describing his relationship with the citizens of Tamil Nadu as being bound by flesh and blood.
Addressing a massive public rally in Vellore today, the actor-turned-politician asserted that any insult directed toward him is effectively an insult to the people of the state.
He characterized the upcoming 2026 Assembly election as a miracle election that occurs only once in fifty years, claiming that despite all other political parties uniting against him, he remains a dedicated representative of the people’s interests.
Vijay launched a direct assault on the ruling DMK government, mocking their Dravidian model as a stand-up comedy administration and a fake model. He criticized the current state of law and order, specifically targeting the Be Safe Model by claiming it has become a We Are Not Safe Model for women and children.
The TVK chief highlighted the lack of basic amenities, such as hospitals and bus services in hill villages, promising that his government would prioritize safety and grassroots development. Emphasizing his singular focus, he declared, Tamil Nadu is Vijay, and Vijay is Tamil Nadu, drawing a parallel to famous historical political slogans to illustrate his total commitment to the state.
Latest updates from the rally indicate that Vijay has dared all politicians to declare their assets before and after entering politics to prove their integrity. He accused Chief Minister MK Stalin of making fake promises and cheating the public, vowing that once TVK forms the government, he will personally visit every district to meet citizens.
Urging supporters to vote for the whistle symbol, he maintained that the primary electoral battle in Tamil Nadu is strictly between the TVK and the DMK. As the state moves closer to the polls, Vijay’s rhetoric has intensified the political atmosphere in Chennai and beyond, framing the contest as a direct war against corruption.
