Special session of Thawe University concluded at Swami Bhajanananda Mrityunjay Seva Dham, Jhusi

23 Feb (HS): The special session of Thawe University concluded at Swami

Bhajanananda Mrityunjay Seva Dham, Jhusi, Prayagraj. The University's Academic

Council and all its officials unanimously issued a notification appointing

Mahamandaleshwar Shri Swami Hariharanand Saraswati, the Supreme Head of the

Devi Sampad Mandal, as Chancellor of Thawe University.

A one-day special session of Thawe University, Gopalganj, Bihar, which works in

the field of promotion and development of art, literature, and culture, was

held in the grand auditorium of Swami Bhajanananda Mandapam, located at Swami

Bhajanananda Mrityunjay Seva Dham, Jhusi, on the banks of the Sangam in

Prayagraj Dham. In a meeting attended by all the university officials, the

Academic Council, and the General Council, the name of Mahamandaleshwar Shri

Swami Hariharanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, who is also the Supreme President of

the Devi Sampad Mandal, was proposed by Thawe University's Deputy Registrar,

Dr. Girdhari Lal Agarwal. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vinay Kumar Pathak,

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jung Bahadur Pandey, and Registrar Dr. P.S. Dayalayati

expressed their approval. Following this recommendation, a notification was issued

appointing Swami Hariharanand Saraswati as Chancellor of Thawe University,

which was welcomed by the audience with thunderous applause. Additionally,

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jung Bahadur Pandey, whose term was ending today, was

re-elected to the position of Vice-Chancellor.

In his address, newly appointed Chancellor Dr. Hariharanand Saraswati stated

that he would work with everyone, committed in thought, word, and deed, to the

advancement of Thawe University. The University has provided a wonderful opportunity

to serve in the field of education, and we should all take advantage of it.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vinay Kumar Pathak extended his heartfelt congratulations

and best wishes to him on becoming Chancellor. The University family and the

audience expressed their joy with thunderous applause.

Udasin Swami Shri Vishnu Das Ji Maharaj (Moni Baba) of the Hariharnath region

was also present on this auspicious occasion. He is an ascetic saint and uses

only sackcloth or gunny sacks as clothing. Jagatguru Shri Dilip Yogiraj Ji

Maharaj was also present with him. Literary figures, poets, writers, and

scholars from various parts of the country also participated in this sacred

event.

Thawe University's Convocation Ceremony: After lunch, the prestigious

convocation ceremony of Thawe University began. In this ceremony, honorary

degrees of Vidya Vachaspati and Vidyasagar were conferred on numerous literary

figures, scholars, poets, and writers from India and abroad. Some social

workers were also honored by Thawe University. All the learned participants

were presented with certificates and mementos by the University's Chancellor,

Dr. Swami Hariharanand Saraswati, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vinay Kumar Pathak,

Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Jang Bahadur Pandey, Registrar, Dr. P.S. Dayalayati, and

Deputy Registrar, Dr. Girdhari Lal Agarwal. On this occasion, Jagdish Sharan

Tripathi, Sukhdev Dubey, Manish Kapoor, and Vishnu Agarwal, administrators of

Swami Bhajanananda Mrityunjay Seva Dham, Jhusi, were presented with mementos by

the University.

Holi of Flowers: Dr. Girdhari Lal Agarwal of Thawe Vidyapeeth said that after

this meeting, all the saints and the Thawe Vidyapeeth family played Holi of

flowers together and displayed their feelings towards Sanatan culture and

Indian customs. Everyone enjoyed Holi of flowers with great joy and enthusiasm

amidst the folk songs and music of Holi. Everyone kept enjoying themselves by

dancing and singing with garlands of flowers and open flowers and melodious

music. Meanwhile, Vasant Kavyotsav was also organized in keeping with the

season. In which many poets tickled the audience with their poems.
