Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 05 January (H.S.): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday announced that the state government has framed a special scheme with enhanced incentives to attract investments in cities like Parbhani, which currently have a minimal industrial footprint.

Speaking at a rally ahead of the January 15 civic elections, Fadnavis said that Parbhani has been designated as an “emerging” city, and dedicated incentive packages have been prepared to encourage industrial development in the region.

He noted that the scheme will provide additional benefits to industries establishing operations in Parbhani, aiming to significantly boost investment inflow and promote economic growth in the city.

The Chief Minister said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to balanced urban development and creating opportunities in less industrialised areas of Maharashtra.
