Mumbai, 19 Jan (HS): For people died and 20 were injured

in a collision between a bus and a pick-up van on Monday morning. The accident

occurred on Malegaon-Manmad Highway near Varade village in Nashik district.

Four travellers died on the accident site. The injured were rushed to a

government hospital in Malegaon. Two of them were critical.

Malegaon Police Officer said that a private bus was

heading towards Malegaon from Pune when a pick-up van suddenly cane in front of

the bus. Four travellers in the van died in the accident. Malegaon police are

investigating further.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent for the

post-mortem. The police are trying to

establish their identity.
