Sat asks NC to produce report card of its 9 months governance before people


Srinagar, 9 August (H.S.): BJP JK UT, president, Sat Sharma today asked the National Conference (NC) Government to produce its nine months governance card in office before public of J&K.

Talking to reporters at the sidelines of BJP OBC Morcha’s joining programme here, he said the people of J&K and political parties should have trust in PM Modi who had made a commitment that the Statehood will be restored to J&K at an appropriate time.

Sat Sharma, while making a strong dig at National Conference (NC) said for last nine months their progress is nil. They failed to deliver and people face water, scarcity, erratic power supply while the condition of roads is worst. Instead of solving pressing issues of people NC has nothing to offer them and party has only one point agenda of restoring Statehood.

Sat Sharma said Congress which is grand old party of India but has faced a rout now due to wrong policies of its leaders has formed an alliance with disgruntled political forces in the country and they are raising the non issues. “The Prime Minister has made commitment on restoration of Statehood to J&K and he should not be doubted as he (PM) is true to his word”, Sat added.

He said NC patriarch, Dr Farooq Abdullah also attended the meet of Congress and other opposition parties and raised the restoration of Statehood issue there to hoodwink the people and divert their attention from NC Government’s failures.

Sat said in last nine months in office this Government failed to do anything except the transfers of officers and their promotions while people are facing many problems and the NC Government is a mute spectator.

Earlier OBC Morcha, J&K BJP, led by its president, Braham Jyot Satti, held a joining programme.

Sat Sharma, accompanied by MLA Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi welcomed the new entrants in the party and extended their best wishes, encouraging them to work collectively towards the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

BJP district president Jammu, Rajesh Gupta, district president Jammu South, Naresh Singh and district president OBC Jammu South, Rampal, district president, Jammu OBC, Ashok Salgotra, Mandal president OBC, Gadigarh, Ramesh Kumar and others were present on the occasion.

On the occasion Arun Mehra along with more than 100 enthusiastic individuals including retired persons belonging to OBC communities joined the BJP, pledging their unwavering support to the party’s vision.

Sat Sharma welcomed the new entrants, appreciating their wise decision to join a nationalist party that cares for the people. He said that the BJP is not just a political party, it is a family committed to building a stronger, united, and self-reliant India.

Yudhvir Sethi also welcomed the new entrants and said that the BJP has always believed in inclusive growth where every section of society irrespective of caste, creed or region has an equal stake in the nation’s progress.

Braham Jyot Satti, highlighted the party’s commitment to inclusive development and empowerment of all sections of society, particularly the OBC community.
