10 Aug (HS): Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated on the
completion of 75 years of the country's independence, Uttar Pradesh
Government's Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' will
preside over the flag hoisting program in Prayagraj. For which Chief Minister
Yogi Adityanath has nominated Minister Nandi. Minister Nandi will participate
in various events along with hoisting the flag in the main program to be held
on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Prayagraj.
Azadi
Ka Amrit Mahotsav will be celebrated in the grandest manner in Uttar Pradesh
under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Uttar Pradesh
Government Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' will preside over the flag
hoisting program to be held in Prayagraj on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On
Independence Day, along with Prabhatpheri, flag hoisting, Prabhatpheri,
felicitation ceremony and competitions will be organized. Minister Nandi said
that under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, PM Modi's campaign to hoist the national flag
on a large scale across the country is bearing fruit. After Prime Minister
Narendra Modi's call for 'Har Ghar Tiranga', flag hoisting will be done in all
districts, homes and commercial establishments. Along with homes, the tricolor
will be seen fluttering in the sky as well, wherever you look, there will be a
view of the tricolor.
Minister
Nandi said that Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav will start from August 11 in Prayagraj.
Har-Ghar Tiranga program will be promoted in all government, non-government
hospitals, colleges, universities between August 11 and 17. Street plays will
be organized on August 12 and Swatantra Udyan competitions on August 13. Book
exhibition, patriotic films will be screened on August 14. Tiranga Yatra will
also be organized along with Kavi Sammelan. On the morning of August 15,
Prabhat Pheri of school children will be taken out in Prayagraj, there will be
a march past to the tune of the band, along with plantation of saplings,
freedom fighters, martyrs and the families of soldiers and police personnel who
were martyred in the wars after independence will be honored.
