Chennai, 9 August (H.S.): A shocking scam has come to light at the Nagercoil Government Engineering College, where three individuals were arrested for issuing fake appointment letters to unsuspecting victims. The accused, identified as Selvakumar, Mohammed Ismail, and Babu from Tindivanam in Villupuram district, were apprehended by a special police team.

The police investigation revealed that the trio had been circulating fraudulent job appointment letters, prompting District SP Stalin to order action. The special police team tracked down the accused and arrested them in Tindivanam. During the arrest, the police seized fake government appointment orders, counterfeit government seals, and computers used in the scam.

All three accused have been remanded in custody, marking a significant breakthrough in the case. This incident serves as a warning to job aspirants to be cautious when receiving unsolicited job offers or appointment letters.
