09 Aug (HS): On Saturday, a young man shot his friend in Kakori police station
area of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. On receiving the information,
the police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital for
treatment. On the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case and
started investigation. Kakori police station in-charge Satish Chandra said that
Anil Kumar Gautam (25), a resident of Moinuddinpur village, was shot by Guddu
alias Shailendra. On receiving this information, the local police force reached
the spot and with the help of family members, the injured was taken to CHC
Kakori, from where he was referred to the trauma center.
The
bullet hit the injured person in the back. The weapon from which the bullet was
fired is a double barrel 12 bore licensed gun which is licensed in the name of
accused Guddu's father Hariram. The gun has been recovered from the accused's
house. During investigation it was found that accused Guddu and injured Anil
Kumar Gautam are friends.
On
Saturday, the accused Guddu came with a man named Ankit. When the injured Anil
asked for his borrowed money, Guddu did not like it. Guddu said that Ankit has
come with us; you cannot ask him for money right now. There was an argument
between the two on this matter and the accused Guddu ran away to his house. He
brought his father's licensed gun from home and shot Anil. The police have
registered a case on the complaint of the family and started searching for the
accused.
