Birbhum, 6 August (H.S.) A youth died after being hit by a speeding bus on Shantiniketan Road in Bolpur of Birbhum district on Wednesday morning. According to local and police sources, while going from Bolpur to Natunhat, the bus hit the youth from behind. The youth, crushed under the wheels of the bus, died on the spot. After the accident, the driver fled from the spot with his bus. This incident has caused a lot of uproar in the area. Local residents have demanded the arrest of the bus driver. Later, the police of Bolpur police station reached and controlled the situation. The police said that the body has been sent to Bolpur Government Hospital for post-mortem. Till the time of filing of the news, the deceased could not be identified.
