06 Aug (HS): Swami Prasad Maurya, former cabinet minister and national

president of the Apni Janata Party, was visiting Rae Bareli when a young man

who had come to see him unexpectedly appeared on stage and smacked him. This

incident occurred during a political event in which Swami Prasad Maurya had

arrived to participate.

It has been

discovered that the youth approached the minister from behind and smacked him,

leaving the audience startled. Swami followers

on the scene quickly apprehended the accused youth and beat him severely. Following that, he was turned over to the

police. Meanwhile, disruptive groups

attacked supporters gathering for the welcome at Saras crossroads in the City

Kotwali neighborhood.

This

brawl on NH in broad daylight caused a commotion in the neighborhood. The

footage of the incident is now going viral on social media, causing a lot of

resentment among the public. It is unclear what the assailants' intentions

were, but two separate attacks on the same day have called into doubt the

security system. The police have begun investigating the case, and the

suspected youth is being questioned.
