Karbi Anglong (Assam), 06 August (HS): A state-of-the-art MRI scanner was inaugurated on Wednesday at Diphu Medical College and Hospital in Karbi Anglong. The inauguration ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Tuliram Ronghang, Chief Executive Member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), along with Executive Members, Members of the Autonomous Council (MAC), and the Chairman.

The Principal of the medical college, senior doctors, and other hospital staff were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ronghang stated that the installation of the MRI scanner will greatly benefit thousands of patients in the region. He emphasized that with this facility, people will no longer need to travel long distances for advanced medical diagnostics, bringing much-needed relief to the local population.
