Nagpur, 06 Aug (HS) : The Film, Television and Theatre
Society of Central India will host the Central India International Film
Festival for Children and Youth in Nagpur from November 14 to 16. The three-day
event will showcase selected films to inspire a young audience in the region.
Entries under multiple categories have been started
on August 1 via email, the official website, or offline. The entries will be
accepted in the following categories: International Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary, Children’s Film, and Amateur Film by Emerging Filmmakers, as well as Women-Centric Stories: mobile-shot film, music video, and reels categories.
Special competitions have been planned for the
school and college students from the Vidarbha region. The organisers are also
conducting filmmaking workshops for beginners. A special Vidarbha Filmmaker
Award will be given to promote the talented artists in the region.
