Prayagraj, 05 Aug (HS): The Uttar
Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has simplified the criteria for
posting transfer certificates to its website during the advanced registration
procedure for students in grades 9 and 11. Only pupils who have transferred
from another school will be required to upload transfer certificates (TC).
According to UPMSP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, some principals have pointed
out that uploading TCs for children who currently attend the same school is
unnecessary.
He said that the UP Board deemed their position to be logical. In rural places,
school employees had to go to cyber cafés to upload TCs, which took time and
money. As a result, the regulations were eased, Singh remarked.
He stated that it
is now required to submit TC just for kids who transfer into classes 9 and 11
from another school. The initial regulation was implemented to prevent
fraudulent admissions to grades 9 and 11. Vikram Bahadur Singh Parihar,
Principal of Jwala Devi Inter College in Civil Lines, Prayagraj, praised the
action, saying it will alleviate an unneeded load on the school personnel. He
stated that the procedure of uploading sensitive papers was unsafe because the
majority of rural school principals utilize private cyber cafés to register
online.
