Ayodhya, 05 Aug (HS): The

Agniveer Recruitment Rally organized by Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Amethi

commenced today at the Dogra Regimental Ground, Ayodhya Cantt, with vibrant

participation from candidates belonging to Amethi and Kaushambi districts. This

rally, conducted for thirteen districts of Uttar Pradesh, is a joint effort

between the Indian Army and civil administration, reflecting a shared

commitment to provide golden opportunities to aspiring youth across the region.

Brigadier Swarn Singh, DDG Recruiting (States), Headquarters Recruiting Zone

(UP & UK), was present to witness the beginning of the rally. His presence

and motivating words inspired the candidates to give their best and reinforced

the rally’s mission of merit-based and transparent selection.

From Amethi, 488

candidates reported for the rally, while 333 candidates arrived from Kaushambi.

These youth have already cleared their Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) and

arrived with great enthusiasm, prepared to demonstrate their fitness,

discipline, and determination. The rally’s arrangements were meticulously

managed through the coordinated efforts of military and civil authorities.

Ground logistics, water distribution, medical assistance, and entry management

were executed with precision—ensuring safety and efficiency for all

participating candidates. This jointmanship has strengthened public trust in

the conduct of recruitment and highlighted the professionalism of all

organizers involved.

Candidates

underwent physical fitness tests including a 1.6 km run, zig-zag balance, ditch

jump, and chin-ups, followed by physical measurements and document

verification. Participants were reminded throughout the day to stay vigilant

and not fall prey to touts or misinformation. Army rallies are designed to be

completely fair and transparent, and every individual is evaluated solely on

merit. The atmosphere at the rally ground remained electric, filled with hope

and pride. Candidates marched forward in well-formed groups, echoing a shared

spirit of service. The enthusiasm displayed today marks the beginning of a

promising journey for many, with the Indian Army standing ready to welcome its

next generation of Agniveers.

The successful

execution of today’s rally was made possible through the dedicated support of

the Ayodhya civil administration, whose collaboration helped uphold both

discipline and dignity on the field. With this momentum, the rally will

continue in the coming days, welcoming youth from the remaining districts with

the same commitment to fairness and opportunity.
