The low-tension electricity consumers of the Maharashtra State Electricity

Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) will be required to log in to download

the PDF version of their electricity bills from the official website. MSEDCL

has decided to enhance cybersecurity and to protect consumers’

data. The changes are being made in line with the cybersecurity guidelines

from the Central Government.

The electricity bill

in PDF format will be available on the ‘View/Pay Bill’ page of MSEDCL’s

official website www.mahadiscom.in for

domestic, commercial, industrial, and other low-tension consumers. Earlier, the

bill download facility was available only by entering the 12-digit consumer

number.

The consumers can

still pay the bill online without logging in. But it is mandatory to download

the PDF bill. The log-in link is also available on the View/Pay Bill page. The

consumers must log in by recording their consumer numbers. Mobile number and email

address (if any), and then create a log-in ID and password. After logging in, the

consumers can access various services available, register their complaints, and check the status of their complaints.
