05 Aug (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation

stone of 186 development projects worth Rs 958 crore in Aligarh district on

Tuesday. On this occasion, he distributed certificates and financial aid to the

beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes. Along with this, he also

cuddled a child by taking him in his lap. On this occasion, apart from local

public representatives, top officials of the district were also present with

him.

It

is noteworthy that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of West Uttar

Pradesh from Monday to take stock of the flood situation in the state. On the

first day, he held a review meeting with public representatives and officials

of Saharanpur and Meerut divisions. After that, today he inaugurated and laid

the foundation stone of development projects in Aligarh. After this, he is on a

tour of flood-affected areas. He will inspect the flood-affected areas in

Auraiya.

Yogi

government has provided relief to 1,72,255 people from the flood disaster.

NDRF, SDRF and PAC teams have been deployed to deal with every challenge. On

the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi, officers of various departments

related to relief work are present on the spot. District Magistrates are taking

updates every moment in the flood affected areas. More than 20 thousand cattle

have been shifted. The spokesperson of the state government said that 14 teams

of NDRF, 15 teams of SDRF and 48 teams of PAC are deployed in the flood

affected areas. So far more than 1 lakh 20 thousand food packets and more than

1 lakh 63 thousand lunch packets have been distributed. Fresh food is being

served to the victims from more than 39 langars. More than 38,615 people have

been shifted to a safe place.

This

district is affected by flood: At present, 21 districts of the state are

affected by floods. These include Kanpur Nagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Agra, Auraiya,

Chitrakoot, Ballia, Banda, Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Chandauli,

Jalaun, Kanpur Dehat, Hamirpur, Etawah, Fatehpur, Bhadohi, Farrukhabad,

Kasganj. Relief work is going on rapidly in all these districts.
