Anandiben Patel, who reached Basti on a one-day visit, participated in the

program organized in the auditorium. The Governor Anandiben Patel said, “If

daughters are safe, then the society is safe. The society needs to understand

its responsibility regarding the medical treatment and safety of daughters and

also give information about the schemes being run by the government for the

medical treatment of daughters.”

While addressing the program, she said that

the way the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi is constantly trying to

promote indigenous products at present is commendable. “Instead of looking

abroad for any product, we should work towards promoting our domestic products

along with their protection and promotion. All people should use indigenous

products,” she opined.

Expressing concern especially about dairy products, she

said that the purity of dairy products coming from abroad is not guaranteed.

The cows of our country produce milk by eating fodder. So, in foreign

countries, many types of chemicals and medicines are used along with meat in

cow milk, which is harmful for health.
