Guwahati, 30 August (HS): The Chief Minister’s Vigilance team conducted a raid on Saturday at Rukminigaon in Guwahati. The operation was carried out in flat no. 402 of B Block, Sananda Apartment, belonging to Drug Inspector Pankaj Kakoti.

A team of 7–8 officials has been conducting the raid since morning on suspicion of disproportionate assets. Sources said Kakoti owns land and properties in four locations in Guwahati and has also built a multi-storey building at Lokhra for rental purposes.
