Bhubaneswar, 30 August (H.S.): The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has announced that the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination will be held on October 4 and 5, 2025 across various districts of the State. The exam will be conducted in an OMR-based format.
Candidates can download their admit cards from the official Odisha Police website https://odishapolice.gov.in starting September 20, 2025. The admit card will include details of the examination centre and schedule. Applicants can access it using their user ID and password.
The Board has advised candidates to regularly check the official website for further updates.
Notably, the SI recruitment examination had been postponed twice earlier. In its July 31 notification, the Board also announced a three-year relaxation in the upper age limit. While the minimum age for applicants remains 21 years, the upper age limit has been fixed at 28 years for general category candidates as of January 1, 2024. For SEBC, SC, ST, and women candidates, the limit has been extended to 33 years.
Applications for the recruitment were invited between August 6 and 15, 2025.
