New Delhi, August 30(HS):

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta unveiled a significant governance initiative, announcing the establishment of mini secretariats across all 11 districts of the national capital. These secretariats will be equipped with necessary resources, authority, and staff to streamline local administration and enhance public service delivery. The announcement came during the inauguration of the District Committee Chairman’s office at the Alipur DM Office on Saturday.

CM Gupta highlighted the recent comprehensive renovation of the North District DM Office as a model of good governance, emphasizing that it has been transformed into a powerful service hub for citizens. She stated that residents can now directly register their grievances at the DM office and expect swift resolution, encapsulating the essence of accountable governance.

The inauguration event was attended by notable dignitaries, including MP Yogendra Chandolia, Cabinet Minister Ravindra Indraraj, and Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht. The Chief Minister shared these developments on her official social media account.

Earlier on the day, Rekha Gupta engaged with youth volunteers and cleanliness activists in Alipur to advance the “Trash-Free Delhi” campaign. She praised the selfless dedication of sanitation workers, calling their efforts a vital contribution to nation-building and a source of inspiration for every Delhiite. Urging citizens to take immediate action wherever litter is spotted, she called for collective responsibility to make Delhi clean, beautiful, and green.

This dual-focus campaign strengthens governance at the grassroots while reinforcing community participation in urban cleanliness, reflecting a holistic vision for a thriving capital city.
