BJP Questions CM Stalin's Foreign Trips, Seeks White Paper on Investments

Chennai, 30 August (H.S.) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu has raised questions over Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's recent foreign trips, seeking transparency on the investments allegedly secured during these visits. The BJP state unit has demanded a white paper on the investments, claiming that the state government has not provided sufficient information on the outcomes of these trips.

According to the BJP, the Chief Minister's office has not disclosed details about the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed or the investments materialized. The party has expressed skepticism over the government's claims of attracting investments, questioning whether these trips have yielded tangible results for the state.

The BJP's demand for a white paper aims to shed light on the specifics of the investments, including the sectors they were secured for and the current status of project implementation. This development has sparked a debate on the efficacy of the state's investment promotion efforts and the need for greater transparency in government dealings.
