Delhi, 3 August (H.S.): In the WCL 2025 final, South Africa Champions triumphed over Pakistan Champions on Saturday, largely due to skipper AB de Villiers' remarkable performance. After winning the toss, Pakistan Champions batted first but faced difficulties, losing opener Kamran Akmal for just 2 runs. However, Sharjeel Khan excelled, scoring 76 runs off 44 balls. Contributions from Mohammad Hafeez (17 runs), Shoaib Malik (20 runs), and an unbeaten 36 from Umar Amin helped Pakistan reach a total of 195 runs in the first innings.

South Africa’s bowlers performed well, with Viljoen and Parnell taking two wickets each, and Olivier claiming one. In response, South Africa started slowly, losing Hashim Amla for 18 runs. Nevertheless, AB de Villiers delivered an outstanding innings, scoring an unbeaten 120 runs off 60 balls.
