Shahjahanpur, 27 Aug (HS): On Wednesday, in the Roza

police station area of ​​Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, due to

financial problems, a couple first poisoned their son and then committed

suicide by hanging themselves. On receiving the information, Superintendent of

Police Rajesh Dwivedi reached the spot and inspected the crime scene.

Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi said that Sachin

Grover (36) and his wife Shivangi (34), residents of Durga Enclave Colony

located in Roza police station area first gave poison to their son Fateh (4)

sometime last night and then committed suicide by hanging themselves. Other

family members came to know about the incident on Wednesday morning, after

which the police was informed about the incident. The forensic team reached the

spot and collected evidence and Roza police took all three bodies into custody

and sent them for post-mortem.

Dwivedi said that the police have also recovered a

suicide note in which it has been said that this step was taken due to

financial problems. The incident is being investigated thoroughly and action

will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come to light.
