Nagon (Assam), 13 August (HS): Acting on a tip-off, Rupahihat police in Nagon district apprehended two drug traffickers and seized 52.18 grams of drugs. The accused, identified as Anarul Hossain and Ashik Ali, were caught while delivering the contraband on a motorcycle (registration no. AS-02-AU-7857).

Police also recovered a motorbike and a container filled with about 35 drug packets during the operation. Interrogation of the arrested individuals is currently underway.
