Mumbai, 13 Aug (HS): Maharashtra’s Sea Port
Development Minister Nitesh Rane on Wednesday announced two special trains from
Mumbai to Konkan during the Ganesh Festival. The travellers will not be
required to buy the travel ticket and will be served food and water. The
special trains called Special Modi Express is being provided by the Bharatiya
Janata Party on August 23 and 24 from Mumbai’s Dadar station, departing at 11
am. The trains will stop at Rantnagiri and Kudal and finally at Sawantwadi.
The festival is the most important one in the Konkan
region. BJP has made the arrangement for the devotees from the Konkan region,
Rane said.
